At Urologic Physicians and Surgeons, your quality of life and urologic care are of the utmost importance to us. We specialize in treating men’s health conditions, and we want to make sure that you’re aware of a common condition that can negatively impact your quality of life: benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), also known as an enlarged prostate.
BPH is a very common condition, affecting 50 percent of men by age 60 and 70 percent of men over 60. If you’re experiencing strong urges to urinate, making frequent trips to the bathroom, or getting up to go at night, you may be suffering from BPH. While the symptoms are likely to be mild-to-moderate at first, they can get worse and have a significant impact on your quality of life if left untreated.
BPH may be a fact of life, but it’s not one you need to live with. If you’re interested in discussing your symptoms and options for finding relief, HERE to schedule an appointment.
